When I used to practice law, membership in the CBA was one of the professional efforts that kept me most connected, informed, and thoughtful about the field. I enjoyed reading CBA publications and the perspectives offered in the pieces directed to young lawyers.
Recently I had the opportunity to contribute my own thoughts to a CBA publication. For the Young Lawyers division PracticeLink newsletter, I wrote “Law librarianship: It’s all about legal information.”
I’m not practicing these days, but I still avail of learning opportunities I can access via the CBA and its publications. I hope young lawyers, less young lawyers, and those thinking about law librarianship and the legal profession similarly will find something of interest in my piece.
